Yot Club announces new album, Rufus, first single “Pixel” out now

Yot Club, the indie pop brainchild of Ryan Kaiser announced today that he will share his second studio album, Rufus, with the world on March 29th. Just in case you’re wondering, no, Yot Club is not part of the yacht rock resurgence that seems to have quietly taken over the world lately.  Instead he is a self-made bedroom pop artist who last year collaborated with the likes of Spill Tab and the wonderful Jordana, who we’ve seen a bit of here.

The lead single for Rufus, is “Pixel” a song that Kaiser describes; “This song is about getting caught up in your own life and technology in relation to self-importance and how you see yourself.” It’s accompanied by a music video lead by independent director Ben Turok out of NYC.

The album itself is a 13 track work that follows his 2022 debut, off the grid, as well as his breakthrough single “YKWIM?” that went double platinum after going viral on TikTok and introduced Kaiser’s sound to a larger audience.

Rufus track listing:

  1. Stuntman
  2. Nostalgia
  3. Fool
  4. 2084
  5. New Day
  6. Human Nature
  7. Drowning
  8. Poison In Your Mind
  9. Too Far Gone
  10. Pixel
  11. Rufus
  12. Otherworld
  13. Lazy Ey

Since adopting the Yot Club moniker in 2019, Kaiser has earned over one billion global streams and praise from outlets such as Rolling Stone, and went a sold-out headlining tour across the United States last year. While he currently has no New England dates scheduled Kaiser is set to perform at Kilby Court Block Party in Salt Lake City in May putting him on track for a spring tour.
